Penetrating the Maharajah's stronghold - the plan

The 6 of them gathered together, warriors from different lands, yet each was powerful in his or her own way. Though it was close to midnight, they could see as clear as day, such as the advantages of being a vampire.

There were no torches or lamps needed, as they looked at the map that the Grifter placed on the ground.

"Alright, here's the plan. This is the outer stronghold. Nothing much, just two rows of 3-meter high fences, seperated by short strip of land mines. Cameras and watch towers with 2 guards at every 50 m. Sentries of 3 soldiers and 1 dog patrol the grounds every 18-20 minutes." Grifter pointed to the markings on the map. "We're gonna sneak in right under their noses, past all of these clowns striaght into the courtyard of the palace. These teleporters better do their job!"

"Woah this guy, is he like crazy or what? Who builds a fortress like that in the middle of a freaking jungle??" Jaric asked.

The fences and watch towers were the first layer of defences. After the fences, another 50 meters down, was a high wall which surrounded the palace of the Maharajah. It was roughly about 12 meters or around 4 storeys high. Smooth and beautifully painted, coated with ceramic and marble, the wall alone showed the wealth of the evil maharajah.

"Look at the corners of the walls. Every part when the wall curves, there is a tower with a machine gunner in it, which is in between the watch towers. If anyone sneaks past the fences and towers, the machine gunners and their spot light will get you. And just in case they miss something, they have the whole area covered with infra-red cameras, able to detect any enemy movement as long as a red blob shows up on their screens."

BK and Daryl weren't listening at this point - they were too amazed with the sheer size of the palace. Even drawn on the small map, the palace looked huge. Probably equal to twice the size of Sun Tec city, designed in the shape of an octagon with 8 sides and 8 machine gun placements at each corner, with only 1 main exit, guarded by a freaking tank and a small squad of soldiers.

"You sure we can penetrate this fortress, kill our guy and then just walk out without a scratch?" Joan asked doubtfully. Silver, her pet dragon had shrunk into its miniature state and perched on her right shoulder. "I mean, there's got to be like at least a hundred soldiers inside there, not to mention his personal body guards, gurkhas, and whatever else he has inside! Plus there are plenty of civilians there too, office workers, servants, workers, and even children! We've got to make sure they don't get hurt in the crossfire!"

Grifter smiled. "Don't worry, they don't have a hundred soldiers in there. I did my research before coming here, or at least I assigned Clarence the task. And yes, there are almost 500 civilians, workers, scientists and their families in there too, but let's not forget while some were forced to work here, many came willingly as well. To profit from the crimes of the Maharajah - the man we're sent here to kill. And we always deliver on our mission."

Seemingly somewhat relieved that there were less than a hundred soldiers in there, the group began to take up their positions to sneak into the stronghold in one coordinated effort.

"You sneaky bastard.." Clarence sniggered to himself as he saw Grifter walk off to place his sniper. "Sure, they don't have a hundred soldiers in there.. They have three hundred and twenty six."
